Irvine, CA (PRWEB) May 27, 2005 -- Comarco (NASDAQ: CMRO) Wireless Test Solutions today announces optimization package pricing for the widely used Solo and Duo models of the Seven.Five Wireless Test System. Seven.Five is used worldwide by cellular carriers to assess the QoS (quality of service) of the wireless infrastructure.
Seven.Five Solo is ideally suited for new site launches, shakedowns, trouble shooting, indoor testing and other network deployment activities; Solo is the only single Calling Module product available with a family of audio, data and video QoS algorithms. It's the perfect entry-level product, capable of seamless migration to the Seven.Five Duo. The optimization package for the Solo includes: tablet PC, phone hardware interface, licenses and GPS. While models of the Solo span many wireless technologies, the optimization package includes one technology license. Without a phone, the Solo is attractively priced from $12,995.
Seven.Five Duo combines the power of Calling Modules with a scanner to quickly and efficiently optimize networks. Duo supports up to two Calling Modules, which can have mixed technologies, and one Multi-Band, Multitechnology RF Scanner. A Portability Kit is available for in-building needs.
The optimization package for the Duo includes: a chassis, a tablet or laptop PC, two phone interfaces, a single technology license, Seven.Five software license and a radio license. Duo is priced at $23,995, without phones. This results in more than a 27% discount, compared with the multitechnology version of Duo.
"We have made these optimization packages available to meet the needs of a wide range of customers worldwide," notes Greg Maton, GM for Comarco Wireless Test Solutions. "These two packages offer great value, and satisfy the testing requirements of the vast majority of wireless carriers who have a need to evaluate QoS from the point of view of the end user. With the portability of the Duo and Solo, testing can even be done while walking around in a building."
