Holtron Ventures Appoints Pertti Ervi as Chairman of the Board

Holtron Ventures Ltd. today announced the appointment of Mr. Pertti Ervi as Chairman of the Board. In his new position, Mr. Ervi will be responsible for developing Holtron's investment activities.

Helsinki, Finland (PRWEB) June 2, 2005 -- Holtron Ventures Ltd. today announced the appointment of Mr. Pertti Ervi as Chairman of the Board. In his new position, Mr. Ervi will be responsible for developing Holtron's investment activities.

Pertti Ervi is an independent consultant and investor as well as a longtime board member of various ICT companies. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Boards of F-Secure Oyj, Mentorium Venture Connections Oy, Forte Netservices Oy, Instream Oy and Stockway Oy, as well as a board member of Stonesoft Oyj.

Mr. Ervi has over 20 years of managerial and entrepreneurial experience in IT and electronics distribution. With his team, he founded Computer 2000 Finland Oy, working as the company's Managing Director until 1995, when he became Co-President for Computer 2000 AG's international headquarters in Germany. Computer 2000 AG operated in 38 countries, with an organization of some 4,500 people and an annual turnover of approximately nine billion euros. As an executive at an international IT distributor, Mr. Ervi has worked closely with the international management of major vendors such as Cisco, IBM, Intel, HP and Microsoft. Mr. Ervi holds a degree in electronics engineering.
