Call for papers for Pira International's Global Crop Protection Summit 2009

Pira International is inviting abstracts from parties interested in presenting at the Global Crop Protection Summit and exposition on 15-17th September at The George Hotel in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Pira International and partner CCM International are inviting abstracts for the 2009 Global Crop Protection Summit in Edinburgh, Scotland on 15 - 17 September 2009. With a strong focus on emerging markets, regulatory trends, and driving factors, the Global Crop Protection Summit 2009 will provide the latest information on the most pressing issues facing the industry.

The conference will be chaired by Rocky Rowe of the European Crop Protection Association and Dr. Rod Parker of AIS Global. The current program includes presentations from Allier Brasil, CropLife International, ChemSpec Latin America, and the Crop Protection Association of the UK.
Speaker recruitment is now underway and we will be accepting submissions for papers within the following categories:

    (1) Emerging geographic markets: India, Russia and the Ukraine,
    (2) Regulatory updates: REACH and GLP
    (3) Pest and disease trends
    (4) Pesticide innovation
    (5) Challenges facing the industry: the economy, pesticide resistance, etc.

If you are interested in participating as a speaker and/or panelist, please send a brief abstract including: company name, speaker name, job title and company information, and a topic summary or a title for the presentation.
