Research Shows Web Surfers Willing to Switch to Local Internet Service Providers

Jupiter, FL-April 26, 2001--A majority of research companies are doing surveys on Internet Service Provider churn rates. Churning is the rate at which subscribers leave ISPs. Dotcom.com surveyed over 900 ISP churners about what made them switch to their current ISP. The results revealed live customer support was most important, 25% of customers switched host providers because of better product/service offerings from another ISP. 17% switched because of lower fees.
