Spades and Pinochle Tourney Tour begins this June

8 State, 16 Tournament Tour Beginning in June and ending with Tournament of Champions in Mexico in October. Over $60,000.00 in Prizes.

Indianapolis, May 9, 2001 - The Internet Card Club (http://www.icardclub.com) announces its Live Tournament Tour 2001 for spades and pinochle players. The first tourney will take place in Salt Lake City from June 8-10.

There will be 16 tournaments held in 8 states across the US. Tournaments will consist of Double Deck Pinochle and Spades.

In addition to the purse they receive at their state side tournament, the 32 winners will receive an all expense paid trip to Isla Mujeres, Mexico (an island 8 miles east of Cancun) where they will compete in a Tournament of Champions with total prize money of $20,000.00.

The tournaments will be held in:

* Salt Lake City, Utah - June 8, 9, 10

* Sioux Falls, South Dakota - June 15, 16, 17

* Cadillac, Michigan - July 6, 7, 8

* Burlington, Vermont - July 20, 21, 22

* Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - August 10, 11, 12

* Atlanta, Georgia - August 24, 25, 26

* Dallas, Texas - September 7, 8, 9

* Nashville, Tennessee - September 21, 22, 23

The Tournament of Champions will take place October 20 - 27 in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, at the fabulous Hotel Cabanas Maria Del Mar.

Paula Garcia, Director of the Internet Card Club, said that interest amongst its members was tremendous.

"Ever since we announced the Live Tournament Tour 2001 to our existing members, the tourneys have been abuzz with excitement,"saidGarcia. "Already, more than 50% of the total number of spaces available

have been booked, and we expect to fill most of the remainder by the time our first event in Salt Lake City takes place."

Entries are still being accepted for all events. Cost per person is $275.
