Former Model Turned Entrepreneur Invents A New Landscaping Decoration Product That Has Taken The Gardening Industry By Storm, The Treepot Young entrepreneur is changing the way we see trees at homes, country clubs, hotels and downtowns, through his invention, The Treepot. West VA (PRWEB) June 9, 2005 -- Aaron Simmons was not your typical Miami area model/actor. He is tall, standing at a towering six-feet-eight-inches. When he first arrived to Miamis South Beach casting agents sent him on nineteen auditions. He was booked for thirteen of the nineteen gigs, which included shoots for Glamour, Cosmo, Big and Tall and commercials for Wendys, Sea World and The Weather Channel to name a few. On top of immediate success, nightlife, unlimited dates he always knew there was something more brewing in his mind. Aaron had always been creative and while attending Marshall University he began delving into his artistic side. He began working on architectural designs, sculptures, cartoons, drawings, product inventions and writing scripts for feature films.
Even as a successful model and actor all his creative talents were begging to come out. While he was walking in South Beach he saw a tree and got a vision for a product design. He felt this could be a break through invention that would beautify the landscape of homes, hotels, country clubs, offices and towns. He drew designs of the invention, obtained legal protection and knew that he wanted to launch his own company. He went back home to West Virginia and began his long four year process of patenting, design, raising capital ,manufacturing and now marketing, The Treepot- 100% cedar planters.
This gorgeous product is designed for landscape decoration around full size planted trees. This uniquely constructed planter rests on top of the ground, with an interior shelf that is designed to hold 8 inches of potting soil. Treepots give the illusion that the tree is growing in the planter. The owner can also plant flowers in the planter and enhance the beauty of their landscape in minutes. You dont have to worry about the trees roots taking all the nutrients away from the flowers around the base area of the tree.
These magnificent tree planters come in two sizes:
Small Cedar TreePoT , 20x20X18 and sells for $99.99 plus S/H and the Medium Planter- 31X31X24 which retails for $139.99 plus S/H.
Aaron has also signed a licensing contract with a major infomercial company who is going to manufacture the Treepots in plastic and mass market across the USA in spring of 2006. This is only the first of many ventures for Aaron. He is a twenty-something entrepreneur that has an exciting road ahead of him.
