Utah County Auto Dealer Brent Brown Toyota Offers Rebates on Toyota Prius Hybrid in Time for Summer Driving Season

Toyota is offering a $2,000 Customer Cash rebate and Brent Brown will pay the sales tax on the popular '09 model Prius just in time for the summer driving season. The 2010 Prius will arrive shortly at Brent Brown Toyota in Utah County, which is one of the dealerships seeing a slight increase in car sales reported by Toyota Corp.

Orem, UT (PRWEB) June 4, 2009

Utah County auto dealer Brent Brown Toyota is offering a $2,000 Customer Cash rebate and will pay the sales tax on the purchase of a new '09 Prius.

During the summer gas prices go up, increasing the demand for hybrid cars. The 2009 Prius gets up to 48 mpg, making it one of the most economical cars available. Many people are waiting for the new 2010 Prius which will be arriving at Brent Brown Toyota soon. The supply of new cars will be limited at first but will pick up as the model year progresses.

"We have new '09 and several used Prius' on the lot and 2010's are coming soon. You can special order a 2010 Prius now and be one of the first to have the new 2010 Prius you want in time for summer," said Brent Brown, owner of Brent Brown Toyota, a Utah dealership that sells the Toyota Prius.

For those who don't want to wait, Brent Brown Toyota has worked hard to get a fairly large selection of the 2009 model Prius. Pre-owned Prius models are available also.

Some wonder if they should buy now or wait for the new model and features. "The '09 is a great car and great incentives are available now. The 2010 promises to be a great car, but it is something you have to wait for. The '09 is here and ready right now," said Brown.

Brent Brown services all Toyota cars, trucks and SUVs, including the Prius. For those who are hesitant to buy a hybrid because of concerns with battery life and reliability, Brown says they have seen few problems. "There have been very few problems with the batteries, the most common problems are accident related damage that was not initially repaired by a Toyota certified technician."

Even in this economic climate people are buying cars. Toyota Motor Corp. just reported a slight increase in Toyota sales - see http://businessmirror.com.ph/home/world/10602-toyotas-us-sales-uptick-may-signal-end-to-slump.html. They speculate that the worst slump in car sales in 30 years may be turning around. To that Brown said, "A great product sells itself. Our Prius customers are well informed and concerned more with the long term impact of their purchase than the current economic situation. This keeps the demand high."

He notes that some buyers loyal to other brands are now switching to a Prius. "The Prius customer is very broad spectrum, but the common thread is concern for the environment and fuel economy. People are switching from other brand loyalties simply to get the best hybrid on the market. Most Prius buyers purchase a Prius as their primary vehicle because they plan on driving a lot, and environmental impact and fuel economy are the biggest selling points."

Brent Brown Toyota has carried the best selling, best built hybrid (the Prius) for years. New '09 Prius' are available now at Brent Brown Toyota. Demand for hybrids is building as the summer months approach and gas prices rise.
