The five-song "The Lunar Age" EP is officially released for purchase at iTunes, Amazon.com, Napster.com and other digital retailers. The EP features tuneful songs, with insightful lyrics and unique hooks, bringing together elements of electronica, funk, ambience music and even Spanish Flamenco. Mark Alan (ASCAP) chose the name "The Lunar Age" for its reference to the humanities first journey into space. To him it was the perfect name to mark the launching of Alphanaut. "Spontaneity", Alphanaut's debut single, has also just been digitally released May 2009.
Mark Alan is currently wrapping up song editing for Alphanaut's first full-length album, which he'll be taking into the studio summer of 2009.
