The company's new 'I'm Tired of Discrimination' bracelet will raise funds for the leading non-profit, nonpartisan international human rights organization. Half the sale ($5) from each $10 bracelet will be donated to Human Rights First. Santa Monica, CA (Vocus) June 11, 2009 -- "I'm Tired of…" (ITo) is totally tired of discrimination in all its hideous forms -- racial, sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, disability, too many to name -- and is doing something about it, along with organization Human Rights First (http://www.humanrightsfirst.org/index.aspx).
"The amazing number of ways we find to hate and discriminate against each other in this world is disgusting and unacceptable," stressed Dan Hoffman, ITo co-founder. "We are fighting back the only way we know how, with our new "I'm Tired of Discrimination" bracelet (http://www.imtiredonline.com/index.php/shop/details/14/Discrimination), which will raise funds for Human Rights First, the leading non-profit, nonpartisan international human rights organization based in New York and Washington D.C., which accepts no government funding in order to maintain its independence. Half the sale ($5) from each $10 bracelet will be donated to Human Rights First.
ITo, the makers of the popular "I'm Tired of…" bracelets, which raise money for important world causes, believe that this is one of the most important campaigns they've released since the company's inception less than a year ago. "This issue is so broad, encompassing such a wide range of people, who face discrimination because of their race, sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, religion and so many other unconscionable prejudices. Some face more than one type of irrational hatred," Hoffman continued. "Our charity beneficiary for this critically important cause, Human Rights First, does an amazing job of addressing all of the types of discrimination and we want to support their efforts in a big way."
The "I'm Tired of…" campaign was launched by brother and sister team, Dan Hoffman and Carrie Pollare, to fight against the world's issues that we are all tired of, like animal cruelty, discrimination, world hunger, global warming, cancer, diabetes and so many more. The fashionable bracelets are made from recycled tires and metals, creating a fun play on the word, tired, and cost just $10, so anyone can afford them. Then half the sale ($5) from each one is donated to charities the company is aligned with that support each cause. The company recently also introduced an "I'm Tired of Animal Cruelty" t-shirt.
