Premier Martial Arts Instructs Free Kid Safe® Program as a Free Community Event

Premier Martial arts is teaching a childrens safety seminar for local children ages 5-12. On average 2,200 children are reported missing each day. This free seminar will provide children with the skills and knowledge needed to stay safe.

(PRWEB) June 19, 2005 -- Premier Martial Arts presents the nationally recognized Kid Safe Program as a free community event for southwest Portland school age children from 5 to 12 years on Saturday, June 25th at 10:00 am. This special event will be held at Premier Martial Arts location at 7306 SW Oleson Rd. in Garden Home. Our expert instructors will teach children how to protect themselves against abduction and exploitation. Our curriculum provides children with the skills they need to be assertive, smart, strong and most importantly, safe!

The FBI National Crime Information Center cites that 2,200 children on average are reported missing each day of the year. Yet the NCIC believes many children can be safely recovered if parents are able to provide police with a complete identification record.

In the Kid Safe program, we provide the tools you need to create a Kid-Safe Identification Record for your child. The Kid Safe personal identification kit contains a physical description log including personal information, fingerprints, DNA kit, reusable emergency medical release card and emergency contact information.

Kid-Safe is an event where parents, students, friends, and family members are encouraged to participate.
