Award-Winning Branson Website Explodes

Branson.com undergoes monumental redesign with customer service, innovation and technology has driving forces.

(Vocus) June 16, 2009 -- A major redesign of Branson’s oldest and most trafficked commercial site, www.Branson.com, provides an exciting new user friendly interface, improved search engine capability, increased functionality and better access to more information about Branson. Larry Milton, one of the principals in Branson Tourism Center, the owner of the site, said. “The site’s redesign delivers more of the information our customers are looking for in a vastly improved user friendly format.”

Milton pointed out that Branson.com is very successful. It won the prestigious “Best US Destination Website” GeoDomain Award in 2008 and, on a daily basis, is continuing to provide Branson information to the millions of internet visitors who have and continue to visit the site. He emphasized, “We realize in order to stay relevant to our customers and provide them with the level of customer service we are noted for that we must continually innovate and effectively communicate with them.”

That involved a complete redesign of the site including the development of a new www.Branson.com Home Page focusing on three main areas of information: Visitor, Local, and Information/Resources. The vast majority of this information is conveniently accessible from the initial view of the www.Branson.com Home Page without having to scroll up and down the page.

Potential visitors to Branson, as well as locals, will find uncluttered, one click access to a constantly growing and evolving body of information about Branson. Potential Branson visitors will find information on Branson’s shows, attractions, lodging, lakes and everything else that is Branson.

A unique feature of the site, from a Branson visitor’s perspective, is its interactive customer service feature, blending the latest technology with personal customer service. The site provides the very latest in innovative search engine technology to help potential visitors sort through the hundreds of choices available to them in terms of all that Branson has to offer and the on-line capability to purchase them. At the same time, it provides visitors the choice of personal service by offering the opportunity to call a toll free number and talk with a trained Branson Tourism Center travel specialist.

Another exciting feature of the site is its expanding library of videos about Branson shows, attractions, accommodations and other Branson activities and events including a “Virtual Tour” of Branson. The videos provide visitors to the site with the opportunity to experience Branson from the comfort of their own home before finalizing their travel plans. In addition, the site is loaded with features such as interactive maps, weather information, and a free downloadable vacation guide.

The website www.Branson.com is owned by Branson Tourism Center LLC, a company that sells more Branson show tickets than anyone else and enjoys an accredited status and A+ Rating from the Better Business Bureau. Among other organizations, it is a member of the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau, American Society of Travel Agents, American Bus Association, and the Branson Lodging Association.
