She also has a track record of more than $675 million in awards and settlements over the past five years. The article also noted Ms. Aldous $268 million medical malpractice jury verdict won in 2000 -- one of the nations largest that year -- for a cerebral palsy patient who died after receiving too high a dose of a post-operative medication.
