Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 28, 2005 -

– Around the Rings.com has launched its comprehensive coverage of this week’s IOC Session with “Decision 2005: Singapore”. The special edition previews the IOC session that will choose the 2012 host city as well as possibly change the sports program for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. The magazine is now available for download at http://www.aroundtherings.com.

Around the Rings.com will cover developments at the 117th IOC session starting July 2nd, continuing a 15-year tradition of reporting on-the-scene from major events on the Olympic calendar.

“Our reports from Singapore will alert readers worldwide almost instantaneously when the 2012 city is chosen,” says Hula. “Two days later, they’ll also be the first to know if their favorite sport will be on the program in that same city – or if their favorite sport has been dropped.”

“Decision 2005” features Ed Hula’s preview of the IOC Session, set for July 2 – 9 at the Raffles Convention Center. In it, he examines factors influencing the vote for the host city, and why there may – or may not – be changes to the sports program.

Hula says the IOC will address many other issues during the session. Around the Rings will publish updates about these developments several times each day at http://www.aroundtherings.com/. Subscribers will be notified immediately via email bulletins.

A printed edition of “Decision 2005” will be distributed beginning July 2nd. It Includes updates on Olympic preparations in Turin, Beijing, and Vancouver, as well as a preview of the cities expected to bid for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Former IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch, approaching his 85th birthday, also is featured in an in-depth interview about his life as a retiree.

Other news of note in the special edition -- the partnership between Around the Rings and SOHU.com to deliver Around the Rings in Chinese to the booming Chinese market at http://www.aroundtherings.com.cn. The Jordan National Olympic Committee also chose the magazine to reveal its new logo.

In Singapore, Editor Ed Hula leads an expert team that includes correspondent Anthony Stavrinos, who played a key role in ATR’s coverage of the 2004 Athens Games.

Just as sports leaders worldwide turn to Around the Rings to stay up to date, many of the globe’s most prestigious brands recognize the role ATR plays in communicating their messages to a highly targeted audience. This has resulted in an unprecedented high volume of advertisers featured in the “Decision 2005” newsletter.
