Major Branson Tourism Business Casts into BassTournament Trail

Branson Tourism Center major sponsor of Central Pro-Am Association

(Vocus) June 20, 2009 -- Bass fishing in southwestern Missouri got a big boost recently when the Branson Tourism Center and its affiliate www.Branson.com formally announced the sponsorship of the Branson based Central Pro-Am Association (CPAA). Jim Thompson, local businessman, avid bass fisherman and the new owner of CPAA said, “The timely and generous sponsorship of the Branson Tourism Center has been a phenomenal help not only to the revitalization of the CPAA, but to the promotion of bass fishing in the Branson area.”

Lianne Milton, co-owner of Branson Tourism Center (BTC), one of Branson’s largest and most respected sellers of Branson show and attraction tickets and lodging said, “The primary mission of BTC is to share our passion for Branson with our customers and help them have a great Branson experience.” She explained that one of the ways BTC does that is through the sponsorship of organizations, such as CPAA and events like the “Marine Corps Birthday Ball” and “Hand-in-Hand Branson Honors Purple Heart Recipients”.

“While not direct marketing,” she said, “The sponsorship of CPAA is a logical extension of BTC’s service to its customers.” She continued, “Branson is more than shows, attractions, and things, it is an experience.” She pointed out that experience means different things to different people and the CPAA sponsorship contributes to an organization whose activities help promote Branson area lakes and fishing as part of the available Branson experience.

CPAA’s Thompson said, “The sponsorship of Branson Tourism Center and the publicity generated through www.Branson.com has been a huge factor in the revitalization of the CPAA this year.” Thompson credits a large part of the reason for the recently announced partnership between CPAA with the Professional Anglers Association (PAA), one of the fastest growing national bass fishing organizations in the country and CPAA to the sponsorship.

Branson Tourism Center, LLC, the owner of www.BransonOnTheWeb.com and www.Branson.com, is one of Branson’s largest providers of Branson travel services and employs about 100 people. Among other organizations, it is a member of the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau, American Society of Travel Agents, American Bus Association, Branson Lodging Association and an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau.
