MacDermid is an award-winning executive with over fifteen years' experience crafting interactive strategies for advertisers that include ABC, Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola, Disney, ESPN, IBM, Unilever and Warner Bros. Her appointment also capitalizes on her decades of international experience-- including stints in Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Paris.

MacDermid will join dmg world media on August 1, 2009 and will be based in the company's Larkspur, California offices. She will have full management responsibilities for the ad:tech and iMedia businesses worldwide, including North America, the EU, and the Asia-Pacific region.
