Lafayette Consolidated Government gets in the Swing with Reservation and Point of Sale Purchase for their Municipal Golf Courses

US eGOLF has been awarded the Tee Time Reservation and Point of Sale contract for the Lafayette Consolidated Government Golf Courses in Lafayette Louisiana.

Woodbury, NY (PRWEB) June 29, 2005 -- Under the terms of the contract US eGOLF will install and maintain a centralized Tee Time reservation and integrated point of sale system at Jay and Lionel Hebert Municipal Golf Course, Les Vieux Chenes Golf Course and the Wetlands Golf Course. The point of sale system replaces their antiquated DOS based POS and will enhance the efficiency and accounting records for greens fee collection, pass play, pro shop inventory and sales.

Jay and Lionel Hebert Municipal Golf Course the oldest course in the area was opened in 1926 and is the facility where Jay and Lionel Hebert honed their skills in preparation for the P.G.A. Tour. Both courses host numerous golf outing and Les Vieux Chenes is the site of the Louisiana Open Junior Golf Summit which saw 1500 youths on the course over a three-day period.
