Six Baron & Budd Attorneys Named “Rising Stars of the Texas Bar”: Associate Chris Panatier also Featured in Texas Super Lawyers: Rising Stars Article

Six attorneys with the law firm of Baron & Budd, P.C. have been named “Rising Stars of Texas Law” in the July 2005 editions of Texas Super Lawyers; Rising Stars and Texas Monthly. The annual list honoring the state’s top young attorneys is a joint project of the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics. Only 2.5% of Texas attorneys under the age of 40 or who have been in practice less than ten years received this year’s honor.

DALLAS, Texas - Six attorneys with the law firm of Baron & Budd, P.C. have been named “Rising Stars of Texas Law” in the July 2005 editions of Texas Super Lawyers; Rising Stars and Texas Monthly. The annual list honoring the state’s top young attorneys is a joint project of the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics. Only 2.5% of Texas attorneys under the age of 40 or who have been in practice less than ten years received this year’s honor.

Baron & Budd attorneys named “Texas Rising Stars” for 2005 are shareholder Ben DuBose, who manages cases on behalf of victims of mesothelioma caused by asbestos exposure; Chris Panatier, an associate with the asbestos litigation section; Denyse Clancy, who litigates cases on behalf of victims of leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma caused by exposure to benzene and other toxic solvents and chemicals; and Scott Frieling, Stephanie Brooks-Lesmes, and Thomas Sims, associates with the firm’s toxic tort litigation section.

Chris Panatier was additionally featured in an article in the Texas Rising Stars publication about his part-time vocation as an editorial cartoonist. Panatier has created nearly 2,000 political cartoons in his career and has attracted the attention of such publications as USA Today.
