Gilbert Appointed SVP of Company's Technology Operations Orlando, FL (Vocus) June 24, 2009 Connextions Inc. today announced the appointment of James D. Gilbert to the position of Senior Vice President of Product Development, with responsibility for management of the company's 12-member development team at its Technology Center in Boulder, Colorado, as well as executive oversight of Connextions' growing suite of proprietary technology products, including bConnected - a field sales force management platform for health insurance plans. He will report to Albert Prast, Connextions' Chief Information Officer. Connextions and its healthcare unit, ConnextionsHealth, provide people, process and technology solutions for a growing list of well-known companies; helping them to acquire, retain and serve customers, and to gain competitive advantage through higher sales conversions and lower cost of sale. Mr. Gilbert - a seasoned technology marketing professional - brings two decades of experience to his new role. He is a former Vice President of Product Marketing for Sandvine, a broadband network management firm, where he led the delivery of that company's products to a global market. Previously, he served as Vice President of Product Management and Marketing for Simplicita, a subscriber communications software developer, and was Director of Product Management for Software.com, a worldwide provider of software products and services for the communications industry. As principal at American Management Systems (now GCI Group), he founded the Boston office for global business systems and its management consulting firm. In announcing Mr. Gilbert's appointment, Connextions President Steven G.
