CNI Pharmacy Technician Program

CNI Pharmacy Technician Program Director, Linda Goetz was elected to serve as a Delegate for the Technician Executive Division of the California Society of Health System Pharmacists.

Orange, CA (PRWEB) June 24, 2009 -- CNI Pharmacy Technician (http://www.cnicollege.edu/pharmacytech.shtml) Program Director, Linda Goetz was elected to serve as a Delegate for the Technician Executive Division of the California Society of Health System Pharmacists. As a delegate, she will attend the Board of Delegate meeting, which will be held during the upcoming annual seminar on October 1 through October 4th. This year's seminar will be held at The Town and Country Hotel and Convention Center located at 500 Hotel Circle North San Diego, CA 92108.

Linda was elected by a panel of her peers. During the Board of Delegate meeting, legislation affecting all aspects of pharmacy operations will be introduced. The Board will discuss the proposals which will then be voted for approval or dismissal. If approved, the proposal is then submitted for consideration to the California State Board of Pharmacy in Sacramento. Linda is honored to have a say in future legislation. Over the years the pharmacy technician roles have expanded and current proposed legislation may give the pharmacy technicians even more opportunities.

Career Networks Institute Pharmacy Technician Program is a nine month course that prepares students to meet all the current registration requirements set forth by the California State Board of Pharmacy. Many of the program's graduates have already completed the PTCB exam and are currently working in the pharmaceutical field.
