Keep it Simple - Try to keep your Offense/Defense Simple and Easy for your players to understand. You will find that you use only a handful of plays 80% of the time

Running Backs should run North to South, not East to West. To avoid being tackled, many young players run sideline to sideline. Teach your team to run downfield towards the 1st down marker or End Zone.
Focus on what's important. The Kids. There's no National Championship or Offensive Coordinator of the year awards in Flag Football. This game is for the kids, not the parents, not the coaches.
Your Goals should be Modest. Teach your players the fundamentals of Football, Show improvement from week to week, instill in your players a love for the Game.
