"Teutonia will be Treated With Respect," Developer Asserts MetroPartners Completes Purchase of Downtown Yonkers Building and Commits to Working Closely With LPB

Teutonia Hall on Buena Vista Avenue in Yonkers has been purchased by MetroPartners, the developers responsible for completing the revitalization of the Trolley Barn on Main Street. Planning and investigation have begun, and the developer has committed to keeping the Landmark Preservation Board (LPB) fully informed and consulted every step of the way.

Yonkers, NY (Vocus) -- Teutonia Hall on Buena Vista Avenue in Yonkers has been purchased by MetroPartners, the developers responsible for completing the revitalization of the Trolley Barn on Main Street. Planning and investigation have begun, and the developer has committed to keeping the Landmark Preservation Board (LPB) fully informed and consulted every step of the way.

MetroPartners is assembling a team of architects, planners, engineers, and cultural resource consultants who will develop over the next six months a proposed site plan that takes into account a wide range of factors.

MetroPartners spokesman, Kenneth Dearden asserts, "We have committed to helping the waterfront area become a vibrant and thriving community hub. We look forward to developing a plan that meets the needs of the many people who live and work in the area, while respecting its past, and caring about its future."

According to MetroPartners, the contemplated project will consist of a phase II expansion to Metro92 along Buena Vista Avenue. The project includes two significant buildings known as "Teutonia Hall" and "Trolley Barn."

MetroPartners is a Yonkers-based developer who in recent years completed 66Main and the restoration of the Trolley Barn both located on Main Street in downtown Yonkers.
