Scott Frazier Named the 2009 Utah Angel Investor of the Year, Greg Warnock Named the 2009 Utah Business Mentor of the Year

After announcing the top three finalists of Scott Frazier, Alan Hall, and Nobu Mutaguchi; Scott Frazier was named the 2009 Angel Investor of the Year. Along with the Investor of the Year award, Greg Warnock was honored as the Mentor of the Year for his efforts in educating and guiding entrepreneurs toward their dreams.

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) June 28, 2009 -- The Utah business community converged upon the Hilton Hotel in Salt Lake City on June 23 to honor the winner of the first annual Angel Investor of the Year Award. Angel investors and many high level business leaders made up a crowd of almost 300 who came to honor the finalists for the award.

After announcing the top three finalists of Scott Frazier, Alan Hall, and Nobu Mutaguchi; Scott Frazier was named the 2009 Angel Investor of the Year.

"The other two finalists are very deserving of this award as well," Frazier said, "so I am honored to be the winner."

Despite his success in investing, Frazier remains humble about his accomplishments. During his acceptance speech, he called out many other angel investors in the room who have made significant contributions to the entrepreneurial community. "If they were giving this award out for being good at specific aspects of investing, there are many others who are more qualified than me," Frazier said.

Along with the Investor of the Year award, Greg Warnock was honored as the Mentor of the Year for his efforts in educating and guiding entrepreneurs toward their dreams.
