St. Louis Auto Restorer Wins Award

Precision Restorations, a St. Louis,Mo.-based classic car and truck restoration company, recently won first place for restoration work done on St. Louis owner Ted Fivian's 1954 Cadillac Eldorado convertible. The Cadillac won "most impressive restored automobile" at the "Cars with Class Eighth Annual Father's Day Concours" sponsored by the Horseless Carriage Club of Missouri, Inc.

St. Louis, Mo. (PRWEB) June 28, 2009 -- Precision Restorations, a St. Louis,Mo.-based classic car and truck restoration company, recently won first place for restoration work done on St. Louis owner Ted Fivian's 1954 Cadillac Eldorado convertible. The Cadillac won "most impressive restored automobile" at the "Cars with Class Eighth Annual Father's Day Concours", which was sponsored by the Horseless Carriage Club of Missouri, Inc. and held at the Museum of Transportation in West County.

More than 600 man hours were spent on this exceptionally crafted Cadillac, which featured a complete interior restoration (new carpet, seat covers, restored door panels and dash board), as well as complete mechanical restoration (new brakes, suspension, cooling and fuel systems, and engine tune-up). Precision Restorations also repainted the vehicle, as well as installed a new convertible top.

The Horseless Carriage Club of Missouri, Inc. is a St. Louis-based car club that was founded in 1944. It is one of the oldest surviving car clubs in the world. There were more than 80 entrants for the event.
