City of Canton, Ohio Celebrates Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee's "The Legendary O'Jays" Celebrities, VIP's, Government Officials and the Community Will Salute The Worldwide Success of The Legendary OJAYS at the Homecoming Celebration July 8-10, 2005 in Canton, Ohio Canton, OH (PRWEB) July 8, 2005 -- The Legendary OJAYS will be honored for over 40 successful years in the music industry in their hometown of Canton, Ohio during a homecoming celebration weekend, July 8-10, 2005 that is being sponsored by Cap III Productions, Inc.
The 3-day celebration will feature a VIP Golf Paring Party, Celebrity Golf Tournament, OJAYS Parkway dedication and The OJAYS Homecoming Concert (detailed schedule of events is attached). This event is to pay special tribute to The OJays who have paved the way for many artists in the music industry. An important part of The OJays Homecoming Celebration will be the renaming of Mahoning Road to The OJays Parkway". This Historical Street Dedication Event will be celebrated with the Canton community at Nimisilla Park on Sunday, July 10th, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The O'Jays Homecoming Weekend event will attract local and national media, celebrities, VIP and bring the community together.
