Fringe Theatre Hit "The Elsinore Diaries" Returns to Seattle

Lawler, Flint, and Marr are now taking the newly revised and expanded "The Elsinore Diaries" into a full production at the Center House Theatre at Seattle Center.

"The Elsinore Diaries" is a mockumentary look at "Hamlet," gleefully pointing out plot holes and wittily interviewing major and minor characters in order to give the audience a fresh and funny look at Shakespeares greatest tragedy. While the original "Elsinore Diaries" was well received, the playwrights promise the new production will be even better. Now unfettered by the Fringes restrictions in time and sets, this new directors cut" includes previously deleted scenes and a more elaborate staging at the Center House Theatre. Even more exciting, the play with be directed by Scot Whitney, Managing Artistic Director of highly acclaimed Harlequin Productions in Olympia, where "The Elsinore Diaries" will run for two weeks before moving to Seattle.
