Winner of "The Apprentice" season 2, Kelly Perdew, was regretfully unable to attend the Young Republican National Convention where he was expected to appear as the 'master of ceremonies' gratis as a courtesy for the Young Republicans.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) July 11, 2005 -- Winner of "The Apprentice" season 2, Kelly Perdew, was regretfully unable to attend the Young Republican National Convention where he was expected to appear as the 'master of ceremonies' gratis as a courtesy for the Young Republicans. The decision was based on a number of factors including unfilled obligations to Kelly by the convention's Chairman and the unapproved use of Kelly's name in a press release titled "YRNC2005 Convention Chairman Responds to Attacks by Leftists," which was issued by the group's Chairman.

"This was a difficult decision and unfortunate for everyone involved. I have always been a strong supporter of the Republican Party and can't express how much I support our troops, which include three of my siblings." said Kelly Perdew. "I wish the best to the Young Republicans and very much hope that the convention is a success."
