Sibername is accredited as registrar for .EU Domain Names

Sibername is the first Canadian registrar for .EU domain names.

(PRWEB) July 14, 2005 -- Canadian domain name registrar Sibername (sibername.com) announced on Tuesday July 12, 2005 that it had been accredited to accept registrations for the forthcoming European Union country code top-level domain .EU.

The .EU sunrise period will begin in the fourth quarter of 2005 and is expected to last approximately four months.

Canada has a high percentage of European origin population and people in close contact with European countries for personal or business reasons. We will offer .EU registration at cost during the sunrise period with a normal processing fee applicable. The .EU ccTLD will be available at the applicable registry price."

Sibername will also launch its European web site before September 2005 and will provide web hosting services with servers in Manchester UK.
