Mural artist transforms plain walls.

When I first enter a clients home I take a quick visual scan and then I talk to the client about their preferences, style, the homes architecture, furnishings and colors. I then take measurements & digital photos. Only after all of this can I begin visualizing the proper mural and faux wall treatments that will beatify their home."

Hiring a professional artist is not the same as asking the kid next door who paints, to paint a mural on the wall. A professional artist has many years of experience under his belt. He knows the correct procedures, proper preparation and final look that are appropriate for the many types of homes, clients and situations he encounters. And just like a concert pianist who no longer has to think about every note he hits, the professional artist instinctually knows color combinations, composition, technique and more that is in the best interests of his client.

My main goal is to make sure that my clients are happy with the work. This is a win, win, win situation. They love the work, Im happy creating it and their friends and relatives enjoy the space.

Most homes can be enhanced with the beauty and depth of a faux wall treatment or perhaps a beautiful mural of an Italian garden scene with red bougainvillea spilling over into the living area. Sometimes they just need a little touch to bring out the richness of an entryway or niche."

Prices for Riks work range from $750 for door or window embellishments to $30,000 for a six-room home with 20-foot mural depending on square feet and complexity of work.
