Armadillo Golf Players Final 2005 Fall League Starting Soon

Armadillo Golf Players, Austin's premier CO-ED golf league, starts its 17th season Aug. 14 at The Golf Club @ Circle C. The 9-hole scramble will run Sunday evenings thru Sept. 18 (no play Labor Day weekend.)

(PRWEB) July 14, 2005 -- Armadillo Golf Players, Austin's premier CO-ED golf league, starts its 17th season Aug. 14 at The Golf Club @ Circle C. The league runs Aug. 14-Sept. 18, with no play Labor Day weekend.

Golfers play a five week, 9-hole tournament in a two-person team handicapped scramble format on Sunday afternoons starting at 4:15pm. The format is designed to be enjoyable for golfers of every skill level. Teammates alternate each week so in addition to great golf, players meet fellow professionals and friends in this fun and informal setting.

The early birdie rate of $149 is available thru July 31; regular registration is $169. League fee includes cart & green fees, range balls and prizes, which are awarded each week to the winning twosome, men's long drive, lady's long drive, closest to the hole and of course the Honorable Road Kill Award, for the team placing last.
