Iconic Florals Debut in DC

The iconic floral photographic art of Wayne Boyland and Cracked Pot Studios is featured in exhibit through July 31st by popular Washington, DC, metro-area business and community host, Mike Fleming.

Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) July 24, 2005 -- Works of artistic photographer Wayne Boyland are featured through July 31st at Cameron Perks Coffeehouse, a popular artist venue and favorite gathering spot of business and community groups from all over the DC Metro area. Cameron Perks Coffeehouse is located in Cameron Station at 4911 Brenman Park Drive, Alexandria.

Through his artistry, Wayne Boyland captures the magnetic intensity of a moment. His work features iconic, colorfully rich flowers and plants, as well as striking impressions of light and night visions. He offers his work through Cracked Pot Studios, which specializes in art for residential and commercial décor.

With a degree in horticulture technology, a love for gardening, and an inspiration for writing beautiful poetry, Boyland is a multitalented, passionate artist. Fans of his work will want to follow his creative path, as his future projects will continue to include not only magnificent photography, but mixed, collaborative works as well.

Cameron Perks Coffeehouse, and especially its owner, Mike Fleming, have been described by customers as the heartbeat of the community." Since opening the coffeehouse in November, 2003, Fleming has bonded personally with members of the Cameron Station and Alexandria communities. His customers now come from all over the Washington, DC Metro area, for the experience of spending time with him in his comfortable gathering place. For Fleming, who has an enormously positive appreciation for people, Cameron Perks is more than a coffee shop." In October 2004, the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce recognized Cameron Perks as Alexandria's 2004 "Hospitality Business of the Year."

Fleming has a special appreciation for artists and hosts an exhibit of an individual artists work each month. Last spring, he organized the first Art in the Park event in Cameron Station, which was held on May 21, featuring 32 artists.
