Jane Ottenberg, President of The Magazine Group, the leader in quality custom media, is featured in Publishing Executive magazine's first-ever "Top Women in Magazine Publishing" list.

The women Publishing Executive selected to be "Top Women in Magazine Publishing" represent various segments of the industry, and are "at the top of their fields in business management, editorial, digital, manufacturing, production and audience development." They were chosen by the magazine with input from its advisory board and other constituents, including Women in Periodic Publishing, a nonprofit organization that aims to empower and support women in print and online publishing.

The Top Women in Publishing "have created jobs for thousands in this industry, mentored those joining the industry after them, and inspired millions of readers," Publishing Executive Editor Noelle Skodizinski wrote in her Letter from the Editor. "They are leaders who have incited growth and change in publishing, and every one of them deserves recognition, female or not."
