San Diego BMW Motorcycles Presents an Evening with World Rider Allan Karl

San Diego BMW Motorcycles announced that they will be hosting a presentation and dinner, featuring renowned world rider Allan Karl Friday, July 17, 7PM, at the San Diego BMW Motorcycles' showroom in San Diego.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 17, 2009 -- San Diego BMW Motorcycles announced that they will be hosting a presentation and dinner, featuring renowned world rider Allan Karl Friday, July 17, 7PM, at the San Diego BMW Motorcycles' showroom in San Diego.

Allan will talk about his adventure ride which took three years, through 35 countries and 62,000 miles. The event will also feature Karl's new book, "Dinner Served: Food From Around the World," with sample recipe plates from his new book.

Allan Karl is a writer, entrepreneur and photographer. He took a solo journey around the world that started on July 4, 2005 on his BMW F650 GS Dakar Series bike. The trip took him 847 days, 62,329 miles and 1,116.2 gallons of gasoline. Allan also raises awareness and donations for the UNESCO World Heritage Center.
