The aim of the site is to allow visitors to search for local practitioners by entering their postcode, as well as research information on popular Alternative Health subjects. A forum is also planned for later in the year. Alternativehealth.co.uk is also allowing practitioners to list the business free.

Alternative health care or alternative therapies refer to that branch of healing methodologies that have not been given the status of recognized medical treatments.
