DPI's 12 patents, filed between 1994 and 2001, are the result of research and development efforts on the part of southern California-based Synthonics Technologies, Inc. Between 1993 and 2002, Synthonics developed computer implemented 3D graphic generation and display technologies that are now fundamental to many current and developing technology fields, including 3D modeling and visualization, video games, motion picture graphics, and biometrics.
