Eyal Ardity, CPA Joins Goldstein Lewin & Co. as Senior Audit Manager

Goldstein Lewin augments its Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 capabilities so that it can assist smaller public companies in meeting the 2006 deadlines.

(PRWEB) August 10, 2005 -- Goldstein Lewin & Co., Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, is pleased to announce that it has recently hired Eyal Ardity, CPA, as Senior Audit Manager. Mr. Ardity has nearly 10 years of experience in providing external audits, business advisory and consulting services to large and mid-sized companies. His most recent experience includes Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 services for large and mid-sized public companies.

As a Senior Manager at Goldstein Lewin, Mr. Ardity provides a broad range of audit services to public and private companies. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was responsible for all aspects of audit including Section 404 internal controls engagements and SEC reporting for public companies. He also assisted companies in initial public offerings and private placements.

The influence of Sarbanes-Oxley extends well beyond financial regulation; it also encompasses a wide range of legal, moral and ethical issues that have a direct bearing on corporate governance," states Mr. Ardity. Sarbanes-Oxley affects every sector of the business community -- public, private, and non-profit entities, officers, directors, shareholders, employees and even consumers. Having provided Section 404 services for large and mid-sized public companies, I understand the difficulties involved in identifying and correcting weaknesses in internal controls as well as in integrating these controls with other governance issues."

According to Donald Goldstein, CPA and Goldstein Lewins Co-Managing Partner, Smaller public companies soon must begin addressing their Section 404 internal controls. There are few CPAs who can match Eyals experience in this area, and those with similar credentials are in demand. Eyal is a valuable resource to our public, private, and not-for-profit clients."

Licensed as a CPA in Florida and certified in Illinois, Mr. Ardity earned both Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Accounting degrees magna cum laude from Florida International University.

Goldstein Lewin is listed in Florida Trend as one of the 25 largest accounting firms in the state of Florida. It offers a comprehensive range of accounting and business consulting services including corporate governance issues, cost segregation studies, eldercare management, accounting and auditing including SEC compliance; tax services; technology consulting; wealth preservation and estate planning; business valuation; financial planning, employee benefits programs and litigation consulting. Goldstein Lewin was recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Florida.
