Nature Publishing Group (NPG) and marketing guru Tony Kotler partnered for the first in a series of seminars presented by NPG as an ongoing initiative to reward their clients. The seminar, entitled "Building an ROI-Based Business Case for Your Offering," attracted marketing directors and product managers working in the life sciences and yielded valuable insights on how to market products and services.

(PRWEB) August 24, 2005 -- As part of an ongoing initiative to reward its clients, Nature Publishing Group (NPG) delivered its first in a series of seminars at one of the years key scientific meetings, Drug Discovery Today (DDT). The breakfast event, held near the Boston Convention Center, was headlined by Tony Kotler of Kotler Marketing Group and was filled to capacity with marketing directors and product managers working in the life sciences.

The seminar, entitled "Building an ROI-Based Business Case for Your Offering," proved immensely popular amongst NPGs clients, with Tony Kotler delivering an intriguing presentation on ROI-based sales and marketing procedures for buyers and suppliers in the life sciences industry.

The seminar revealed data gleaned by Kotler Marketing Group from a recent survey of products and services buyers, including CEOs, research scientists, research directors and program directors. The presentation disassembled many commonly held beliefs about the buying process, and contained important insights on what information decision makers in the life sciences are looking for, and how to market to them. A lively Q&A session following the seminar further helped attendees further address the needs of their prospective clients.
