Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 25, 2005 -- Finding a notary can be tricky. But thanks to 'Stamps For Vets 2005, local military vets and families in Washington will find it a little easier on September 6th. NotaryOne, Inc., a Seattle based mobile notary service is sponsoring and coordinating 'Stamps For Vets 2005 an event to provide mobile notary volunteers to military vets and family members.

A Notary Public is often needed to witness signatures on a variety of legal documents ranging from a standard will to adoption papers. Mobile Notaries Public normally offer their services to clients with a travel fee attached for the convenience of signing at home or at the office.

I want to give something back to the men and women of our military", states 22-year old CEO and SPU student Scott Krager, They sacrifice so much for us, the least I can do is offer one day of my service free, right?"

The initial response from volunteers has been overwhelmingly positive. I sent out 75 e-mails to fellow notaries in Washington, and I got back a dozen responses saying, Yes! I want to do this!"

Mr. Krager has set up a webpage for veterans and military members to find the volunteer mobile notaries in their area. It can be found at:

Veterans, and active duty military members and their spouses should contact the closest volunteer notary on the webpage to set up an appointment for Sept 6th. As long as they dont have to travel insanely far, they will be more than willing to come and notarize any documents you need done", Mr. Krager noted, Im hoping a national bank will come on and sponsor a day of free notary services on the 6th as well, to handle excess demand."

NotaryOne is hoping that other mobile notaries from across the country will be willing to volunteer for Stamps For Vets" as well. Mobile notaries interested in volunteering should e-mail their name, city, zip, and phone to NotaryOne. Contact information can be found at:
