Based on a H.264 hardware compressed platform, the Sentry R Series consists of three different types of systems – PC based DVRs, embedded DVRs and Video Servers. PC based RP Series DVRs provide a real-time audio and video system of up to 24 cameras without the excessive load on the system typical of software compressed systems. The RM-16 embedded DVR provides the stability and ease of operation of an embedded DVR with the performance and features of a PC based system. Up to 16 audio and video channels are supported. The RVS-04 Video Server is an IP device that provides the input for up to 4 channels of video and audio. H.264 compression provides amazing video quality with pixel resolution up to 704 x 480, as well as smaller file sizes, allowing remote users to view live and recorded video at fast speeds. Video and audio from all three types of R Series systems can be received and recorded in the same remote Client PC or group of PCs.
