Wild Dunes Resort Names Jurgen Hummel as General Manager

Wild Dunes® Resort today announced the appointment of Jurgen Hummel as General Manager effective immediately. Hummel has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years, most recently serving as Director of Food and Beverage for Wild Dunes Resort.

ISLE OF PALMS, SC (PRWEB) September 4, 2005 -- Wild Dunes® Resort today announced the appointment of Jurgen Hummel as General Manager effective immediately. Hummel has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years, most recently serving as Director of Food and Beverage for Wild Dunes Resort.

In his new role, Hummel will oversee all aspects of the resort including customer satisfaction, fiscal responsibility and employee relations.

Hummel was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Adams Mark Hotel in Denver. His career has included positions with Regal Hotels International, Sheraton and Hyatt Hotels.

Throughout his career, Hummel earned Awards of Excellence from Wine Spectator every year from 1986 to 2003, and in 1997 received Restaurant and Institution Magazines Grand Award for Table Top Design. He was named Food Service Manager of the Year by the Colorado and Wyoming Hotel/Motel Association and won numerous management awards during his career.
