Pima Medical Institutes Seattle Campus Moves To Northgate Area

Pima Medical Institute, formerly in Eastlake in Seattle has moved to the popular and highly accessible Northgate area. The campus had been in at the Eastlake location since 1989.

Seattle (PRWEB) September 2, 2005 -- Pima Medical Institute, formerly at 1627 Eastlake Avenue East in Seattle has moved to the fourth floor of 9709 3rd Ave. NE in Seattle. The new facility is located in Seattles popular and highly accessible Northgate area. The move took place July 30th and students began classes at the new site on Aug. 1st. The campus had been in at the Eastlake location since 1989.

The new building features more parking, large classrooms with windows, as well as beautiful interior accents. The new Dental Assistant and Radiology laboratories are professionally designed. The Pharmacy Technician classroom will feature a mock retail pharmacy section as well as a fume hood that is used for practice in mixing IV solutions. The Medical Assistant and Medical Administrative Assistant programs share a new front office classroom with 24 new wireless computers.

The Veterinary Assistant program will temporarily remain at the Eastlake location until an appropriate site can be found. The VA program requires a lab area that can accommodate the special needs associated with animal care and PMI is actively searching for an appropriate site for this very popular VA program.

"Students may find our new labs look better than actual laboratories out in the field," said George Borchers, campus director for the Seattle campus. "We want to ensure that our students have access to the latest technology and equipment so they can be fully knowledgeable and prepared to compete in the rapidly changing healthcare workforce."

The Seattle campus offers programs for Dental Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator, Medical Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Radiography and Veterinary Assistant.
