Graziella is the product of the highest level of German champion equestrian bloodlines. Her sire is the legendary Rubinstein I and her dam is the State Premium (SPS) Glaeddis (by Furioso II). Carleton, MI (PRWEB) September 7, 2005 -- MarKim Farms announced the acquisition of their new imported GOV mare Graziella (Rubinstein I/Furioso II). Graziella is the product of the highest level of German champion bloodlines. Her sire is the legendary Rubinstein I and her dam is the State Premium (SPS) Glaeddis (by Furioso II).
Graziella was born in Germany in 1997 and imported to the United States in 2000. She had an impressive show career at Training and First Level qualifying her for and placing in the Regional Finals. She also won several Materiale and Suitability classes as a 4 and 5 year old, including 1st place at the highly prestigious Dressage at Devon. Graziella has produced 3 premium foals by the Westphalian stallion Caruso. She will continue to be bred to only the top champion premium GOV approved stallions. Graziella is currently back in foal to Caruso for 2006.
Her sire Rubinstein I was a son of Rosenkavalier who was a stallion performance test winner and is considered to be one of the most significant Westphalian sires today. Rubinstein was reared from probably the most eminent dressage dynasty worldwide and was given the title, Stallion of the Century". He had 40 wins at Grand Prix level, was a member of the 1996 Olympic team, sired 89 state premium mares and 66 approved stallions and was the father of top auction horses and Grand Prix winners.
Graziellas grandfather Furioso II was the 1968 Champion of his Stallion Testing in Germany. Furioso II became known as the Stempel Hengst", or "Stamp Stallion", because his offspring got his 'very good feet and legs, his outstanding neck and shoulder, striking dappled chocolate chestnut coat with flaxen tail and white markings. From 1979-1989, Furioso II was the No.1 stallion in Germany based on money earned by his progeny. In 1990, he was still the leading sire of Dressage horses.
MarKim Farms Kim Ennett states that Graziella is the result of our global search for a world class foundation mare for our breeding program.
