BurrellesLuce Presents the Arthur Wynne Jr. Memorial Award First time award program to recognize college student and aspiring public relations professional Livingston, NJ (PRWEB) September 12, 2005 -- BurrellesLuce, the nation's leading media monitoring company, will present for the first time the Arthur Wynne Jr. Memorial Award program to recognize one college student and aspiring public relations/communications professional for their achievements in the development of a public relations program and commitment to the practice of public relations.
Utilizing MediaContacts(TM), the BurrellesLuce online media directory, and knowledge of public relations practice; applicants are expected to devise a public relations program for a product launch of their choice. Following the guidelines for submission, candidates are required to develop key messaging points, promotional ideas and press releases for publicizing the product in both industry and consumer publications. Applicants will also build a media list of key contacts using MediaContacts.
To be eligible, each applicant must have attained either junior or senior status by the fall semester of 2005 and be registered as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited four-year college or university studying public relations, journalism, communications or marketing. Candidates must also be active members of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

One award in the amount of $1,000 will be presented during the PRSA International and PRSSA National Conferences scheduled for October 2005 in Miami Beach, Florida.
