Music News: Portland Artist Geoff Byrd Gives A Song of Tribute to the People Who Have Responded to the Needs of Katrina Victims

'Thank God For You' has been picked up by radio stations to be used as part of the news coverage on Katrina and as a song of thanks to all who are fighting this natural disaster.

As a result of our efforts toward Hurricane Katrina, we have come together to meet the needs of our fellow Americans.

This catastrophic event has changed lives forever, as hundreds of thousands are left homeless. The devastation caused by Katrina has wrought havoc but through this, compassion comes forth from men and women of all walks of life.

Our unsung heroes of Katrina’s aftermath, ordinary people doing extra ordinary things, should also be given a hand of strength and courage.
