Poet Michael Ernest Sweet announces second book of poetry "shadows of love" with an introduction by Vermont artist and poet Sandra Erickson. Release expected for Christmas.

Sweet was born in Windsor, Nova Scotia in 1979 and grew up on a horse ranch in the country. Beginning in high school he wrote for various newspapers on topics relating to youth politics. He is now most celebrated for his poetic works which have been published worldwide.

Poet Laureate for the Monarchist Society of America, Michael Sweet is active in numerous organizations such as the boards of both the Montreal Children's Hospital, and Lester B. Pearson High School. He also served a term as President of the Nova Scotia Young Liberals in 1998-99, the youngest ever president of the organization at eighteen.
