Wyckoff, New Jersey (PRWEB) September 18, 2005 -- Paulette Hopkins joins the Hakins Meetings & Incentives team as Director of Special Accounts, bringing operational and sales expertise (both domestic and international) from her key roles in media, entertainment, technology, pharmaceutical, and industrial events. Her invaluable hotel and client relationships, vast venue knowledge, strong sense of service, and passion for working with accounts strategically and managerially add immensely to the Hakins team.

Paulettes enthusiasm for the industry has continued to reach new heights throughout her career -- from Olympic programs to upscale meetings, from pure incentives to creations as unique as a desert-bound interactive sports extravaganza for 120 attendees who spent an afternoon on a putting green, driving range, archery course, horseback trails, and basketball court before relaxing with a fabulous dinner under the stars. Paulette has a particular expertise for creating and managing hospitality programs for corporate-sponsored sporting events.

Paulette moved from New York to Florida, where she began her meeting planning career. She settled in Atlanta 21 years ago, just in time to become involved in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics for one of the major sponsors locally. Her passion for the field has blossomed in Georgia.

In 1989, Paulette purchased a meeting planning company from her employer. Under her leadership, the company experienced fast growth, a well-respected national reputation, and provided the companys eight professionals with an array of meetings, events, and incentives that bore the distinctive marks of Paulettes creativity and attention to detail. The company experienced a 95% repeat client success rate.

Paulette, also Managing Director of the Atlanta-based Hopkins Alliance, is active in a number of professional associations, such as the Georgia MPI chapter (Meeting Professionals International) and Executive Womens International. Her business travels have taken her to destinations worldwide -- including Europe, the Middle East, Far East, and Central America.
