Charitable Organization Gets Creative for Katrina Effort

SCAACI shows donors how to make more money so they can donate more to the hurricane victim effort.

(PRWEB) September 21, 2005 -- Sickle Cell Anemia & Charity, Inc. (SCAACI) has come up with a novel way to raise money to help the hurricane victims. It is promoting a commercial Internet website that donors themselves can use to make money. SCAACI hopes that those who sign up will make money and donate at least some of that money to the Red Cross for the Katrina effort. SCAACIs belief is that if people have more money, they will donate more to the effort.

According to William McGill, SCAACIs administrator, people can go the site, sign up and start promoting. The site is located at http://my.ws/treymanda. There is no cost to sign up for the program. One gets a website domain free for seven days. A fee of $10.00 per month is charged after the trial period. Money is made when someone who is referred to the site stays in the program after the trial period. The basic premise is selling website domains. Subscribers make money if people they refer keep their site after the trial period. The program makes it simple and easy for anyone to get a website domain.

SCAACI also has a website where a coffeemaker is being marketed to help with fundraising. Visit www.gourmetcoffeecafe.net/pcei

SCAACI is located in Browns Mills, New Jersey and has been in existence since 1972. In addition to what its name implies, it sponsors a number of community events and helps needy families achieve home ownership. Details on the organization are at www.scaaci.org. The administrator can be reached at treymanda@yahoo.com.
