Grayson Wray Set to Release Medieval Skyscraper" on October 4, 2005, While His Last Album Continues to be Played by College, Satellite and Internet Radio Nationwide

Grayson Wray is expected to once again amaze college music directors. His previous three albums are still being spun by satellite, internet, and college radio nationwide and this latest album should only add to the momentum.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 21, 2005 -- Grayson Wray has recently finished the mastering of Medieval Skyscraper" in his studio. Wray's 4th album has gone through yet another progression in style. He has been able to reach beyond his sixties rock and Indie influences, such as the Shins, Postal Service, the Beatles, and the Beach Boys, and has created an organic and earthy work that is truly original. This latest record deals with the complexities of man in the modern world. Wray describes it as, a return to a simpler way of life."

Wray has revamped his band to include new members playing a variety of instruments. At the moment, it consists of 6 members playing everything from the clarinet to the flute, but Wray is working to add members so that eventually the live sound will be a unique arrangement gathered together by a multiplicity of instruments.

All recording and mastering is done from the Lavender Sky private studio, which Wray runs from his home in the hills of Los Angeles. Grayson Wray records and produces various other bands from this studio, but his main passion is song writing and creation.

This infatuation with the creative process has triggered quite a bit of notice from college radio, eastern and western Europe, as well as notice from radio greats, such as Lord Litter, and Gary Lee from The Overflow. Past radio campaigns have been extremely positive. In fact, Wray's previous three albums continue to be played on several college and Internet stations. This July, "Tales of Mystery and Loneliness", Wray's last album released in March 2005, was voted as Lord Litter's top 5 choice for the month.

Presently, the artist is working with music supervisors to have songs placed in television productions. Touring plans are currently in the works and Lavender Sky associates are working hard every day to prepare for the new release. It looks as though listeners should keep their ears open for the extraordinary and eccentric sound that is Grayson Wray.
