This seminar will compare and contrast not only FSAs (Flexible Spending Accounts) but two plans that are less than two years old, i.e. HRAs (Health Reimbursement Arrangement plans) and HSAs (Health Savings Accounts). The seminar will concentrate on WHICH plans to use, WHEN would you use them and WHY one plan and not the other.

Our panel of experts will review the tools of the exploding consumer driven health movement, including new product designs by carriers doing business in Nebraska. Vicki Williamson joined Swartzbaugh-Farber & Associates, Inc. in 1998 and has over 25 years of insurance background. She focuses on plan design and administration. Ms. Williamson’s knowledge and attention to detail have positioned her as a strategic advisor to her clients. She is a member of both the National and Omaha Association of Health Underwriters, and volunteers her time to the Boys and Girls Club of Omaha to help with health-related issues.

Maynard H. Weinberg is a tax law attorney that has been in private practice since 1971. He is licensed to practice law in Nebraska and Iowa. Mr. Weinberg attended Creighton University Law School, where he received his J.D. degree. He then obtained a master’s degree in tax from New York University Law School. His past work experience includes a position with the IRS from 1966 to 1969.
