New Orleans Celebrity Makeup Artist Finds a New Home In Baton Rouge To Do Makeup After Hurricane Katrina

New Orleans Makeup Artist is ready to make the women in Baton Rouge go wild with her sexy makeup applications. Hurricane Katrina may have taken away her home and her popular makeup studio but her passion is here to stay.

She offered her popular services, Monday "Don't Be Brooke" Brows, Wednesday "Get Lashed" and Friday "Makeup & Martinis". Gomez-Duplessis has been sought after not just by locals but by Hollywood as well. Many brides booked her services 1 year in advance just to be sure that had the best makeup artist for their special day. Gomez-Duplessis was the makeup artist of choice for New Orleans former Mayor, Marc Morial and his wife news reporter Michelle Miller. Recent work consist of working with Editorial Director Susan Taylor of Essence Magazine, Teen People, and Isle of Capri Casino.

Brandy Gomez-Duplessis says now she is looking for a temporary place in Baton Rouge to set up until she is able to return back to New Orleans. Since Hurricane Katrina I did get a call from Tom Goldstone Senior Producer of CNN Paula Zahn NOW . It was great to get an email from him. Timing was perfect, it wasn't really about making money but to be able to jump right back into what I love to do made my day, says Gomez-Duplessis. It is hard to have to start up all over again and not knowing how long it will take before going back to New Orleans is scary. It's been a roller coaster ride that I don't ever want to go through again.

Gomez-Duplessis returned back to New Orleans to see her studio and it was a very emotional day for her to see all of her retail items and her work destroyed.
