Sport Court®, Denver Nuggets and Boulder Housing Partners Team Up to Provide New Kalmia Community Basketball Court Playing surfaces, backboards and hoops donated for Saturday, Sept. 19 event at 3205 Nottingham Court (near 25th and Kalima) in Boulder Boulder, Colo. (PRWEB) September 17, 2009 Connor Sport Court International and its exclusive Colorado dealer, Sport Court of Colorado, will be providing playing surfaces, backboards and hoops for the Boulder Housing Partners public housing program in conjunction with the Denver Nuggets and community basketball players as part of the dedication of the new Kalmia Community basketball court on Saturday, Sept. 19. The event takes place at 11 a.m.at 3502 Nottingham Court (near 26th and Kalmia) in Boulder, said Mark Gritz of Sport Court of Colorado. It is sponsored by the Boulder Housing Partners, and the Denver Nuggets. "We're pleased to make this contribution to the community," said Gritz. Sport Court is providing a 33 foot by 40 foot playing surface, as well as a professional quality Sport Court basketball standard, backboard and hoop. Former Nugget's player Ervin Johnson will lead a kids' basketball clinic along with other Nugget representatives immediately following the dedication. The 6'11", 245 pound Center is originally from the University of New Orleans and played with the Seattle Supersonics, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks "Connor Sport Court International has a history of working with community groups to provide sports flooring and equipment at little or no cost for charitable events like these," said Ron Cerny, President and CEO of Connor Sport Court International.
